Kappa – bike rack to ADFC guidelines

The Kappa can be used as a single parker (one-sided) or double parker (double-sided) and can be set up modularly in rows, blending discreetly and harmoniously into any urban setting.

Kappa® was developed as closely as possible to the ADFC (German Cyclists’ Federation) guidelines and complies with the Upper Austrian building code. It is one of the few bike racks recommended by the ADFC after technical testing in all four versions (low only or low/high, single- or double-sided) (ADFC test no. Q2105). A parked bike stands stable immediately, even without being locked.

with integrated bike holder made of hot-dip galvanised round steel, Ø 16 mm
suitable for all bike types with tyres up to approx. 70 mm wide.
SINGLE-SIDED access, low/high positions, approx. 500 mm per unit,
optimal theft protection with a standard lock.

Mounting options

Dowel fixing: the base frame made of trapezoidal rails is fixed with dowels and screws (not included) to a load-bearing floor
Set in concrete: individual stands with extended main hoops (400 mm) for setting in concrete.
Below-ground fixing: with base frame bolted at -250 mm below finished floor level (row installation with below-ground fixing)
Wall fixing: attached to the wall with flat iron
Free-standing: with a concrete ballast bollard, 40 kg (from 450 mm wheel spacing)
